Metal detector policy disproportionately affects minority events, some students say

Some student groups have raised concerns that security policies for on-campus events disproportionately affect events hosted by clubs catering to minority students. The incessant rain of the last two days has caused buildings all across the Medford/Somerville campus to flood extensively, and facilities workers have been trying to manage the effects.
