About the Tufts Daily
If you're looking to learn about how to reach Tufts University's 5,000 undergraduates, 4,000 graduate students nearly 2,000 faculty members, this is the place for you. As Tufts University's only daily student newspaper, the Daily is the center for information, discussion and news within the Tufts Community. Founded in 1980, the Daily is written, produced and edited entirely by a staff of over 100 students at Tufts. Typical editions range from 12-24 pages printed on 11'' X 17'' newsprint, with a larger color edition distributed at each year's Commencement ceremony. The paper has recently expanded its operations to include a variety of blogs, videos, audio clips and interactive features on its Web site, http://www.tuftsdaily.com. Reach & Distribution The Daily have a print run of 4,000. Papers are distributed free of charge across the Tufts University Medford campus and through paid subscriptions elsewhere. The paper reaches an audience of more than 8000 students, staff and community members each day that Tufts classes are in session. The Daily's Web site receives 5,000-10,000 visits on any given day; traffic consists mainly of Tufts students, professors, faculty, alumni and parents. |
