When I read that Payless Shoe Source is donating $1,000,000 worth of shoes to children in need for the holiday season, I was ecstatic. Especially with the state of the current economy, I think it’s great that this company is embarking on such a large philanthropic project. No doubt part of the reason they’re doing this is for the positive PR, so I’m going to help that along and highlight some great deals available at Payless right now, online or in store. I recently made my first Payless purchase – a pair of white, Ked-like sneakers that only cost me $7.50 during the BOGO sale (don’t fret, they’re also available in black and cost a mere $14.99 at full price). Lust affair: 3.1 Phillip Lim's leather neck piece

I saw this piece featured on Fashion Week Daily yesterday and practically had a heart attack. Okay, a bit overdramatic, but you get the idea. This necklace is s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g!  Phillip Lim is known for his sophisticated, chic-with-a-twist pieces, so it came as no surprise that he designed this fabulous creation. The asymmetrical shape adds interest, the leather makes it modern, and the Phillip Lim tag makes it $425 *sigh* If I could afford this, I would wear it with a plain white tee, jeans and heels or a strapless evening gown. Gwyneth's Lingerie Look: Love it or hate it?

Well, she's definitely a risk taker! When I first saw this photo of Gwyneth at the premiere of Two Lovers, I loved the outfit. Cute booties, sexy dress, innovative construction yet flattering details... The more I look at this image, however, the more my eyes start to hurt. Why is she wearing white/cream coloured undergarments with this?  Why does the black panel create a phallic shape right at the crotch? Why are there white sock-like panels coming out of the booties? Perhaps she's too old for this dress. Wikipedia tells me she's 36, andnthough her body is bangin' she does have kids. Maybe on a twenty-something the look would work? Or maybe it would have worked with better shoes? Or thicker, less transparent lace? I'm still puzzled. Whta do you think - to borrow a page from Go...
