Nothing's wrong with the headline. It's about the graduating seniors and it was published for Commencement. It may be confusing if you read under the presumption that college newspapers have errors -- and it's not bad to be skeptical.
However, the only way to make this less confusing would be to include a note like "When we say Class of 2009, yes, we mean Class of 2009." Effectively, my "excuse" is that correct information does not need a disclaimer indicating that is correct.

@Anon: This is meant to be Class of 2009. The connection was clearer in the print edition because it was part of a larger feature on graduating seniors.
