Okay, Stephanie & Co, we get it - you are the lone morally upstanding Republicans awash in a sea of liberal ideals, but with this, you've got to be kidding me. Firstly, this was not billed as a bi-partisan event. It was sponsored exclusively by the Tufts Student Democrats, and featured a Democratic senator. The LECTURE SERIES is bi-partisan, in that they have nights with Democratic speakers and nights with Republican speakers. If you assumed that this sitting Senator would be somehow catering to the former Romney supporters, I'm sorry but that's just silly. You don't go to Church and leave complaining about how they kept mentioning Jesus, do you? (Well, of course YOU don't, but you get my meaning). Secondly, Kerry addressed a vast amount of foreign policy, so your assertion regarding it's lack of substance is just plain false. Yes, from time to time, he mentioned why he thought Obama would be a better choice when it comes to dealing with this issues (how dare he), but in whole it was far from a 'political advertisement'. God forbid a longtime member of the Democratic Party speak about the current presidential candidates stances on foreign policy LESS THAN TWO WEEKS FROM THE ELECTION. Honestly, when you went to that event, did you think "oh maybe he'll endorse McCain/Palin"?!?The Republicans are losing this election because for two decades they have relied on unsubstantiated attacks to hide their socially irresponsible and greedy motives, just like this one. Have fun wandering the desert for 40 years RNC.

This was a political advertisement not an educational speech.

He broke the rules at Tufts. It was in no way a discussion of challenges in a changing world. He ended his speech with "Vote for Obama," for crying out loud.

This speech was billed as a bipartisan event, meant to kick off a bipartisan lecture series sponsored by Fletcher, part of Tufts University, which is not permitted to endorse or support a particular candidate or party. At this event they essentially paid John Kerry to speak to the audience about who he is voting for and why we should all vote for him. He neglected to address any real foreign policy issues as well. Really one of the most ridiculous and disappointing events I have ever attended at Tufts.
