The Jan. 22 article "JoeyTracker launches" incorrectly implied that the company UBlip donated a GPS system and $250 to help launch the JoeyTracker project. In fact, the $250 mentioned refers to the cash value of the GPS device donated, not an additional cash gift.
Professor of Sociology James Ennis was mistakenly referred to as Jeff Ennis in the article "Seeing double-or triple-doesn't equal major success," published Jan. 22.
In the "Athletes of the Week" feature published Jan. 22, the photograph next to the description of sophomore Logan Crane was incorrect. The athlete pictured was not Logan Crane but another member of the women's track team.
The headline of the article "Students meet controversial Syrian leader," published Jan. 22, incorrectly implied that exiled Hamas leader Khaled Meshal is from Syria. Meshal is actually Palestinian by origin, though he is currently located in Syria.
