I am a freshman who enjoys the finer points of campus life and I refuse to be kicked off campus as a junior. This school really needs a 300-bed dormitory to guarantee students like myself the status quo of campus life for as long as we want to stay here. Let's be serious, it's convenient. I am near the dining halls, which my parents pay for, I am down the road from a good place to study, and I am near my girlfriend and friends. What can be better than that? What are my other options? RA? I don't want that, either.
I have seen my older brother struggle to find housing his junior year. A large part of my brother's decision to be a RA was based on guaranteed housing. I don't want to stress like that. It is hard enough to juggle school and relationships. All freshmen who wish to live on campus junior year should not be stripped of their right to be college students.
