Students can now check their e-mail in Brown and Brew thanks to the new e-mail station set up last Thursday and donated by the Tufts Community Union (TCU) Judiciary.
The installment of the station, consisting of a monitor, a motherboard, and a jack, was initiated by former TCU Senator Simon Sassenberg last fall, and then brought to fruition by Senator Ed Kalafarski this year.
The reason for the delay was a faulty jack, which was "on-and-off not working," according to Senate Trustee Representative Chike Aguh.
"It was never a problem on our end," he said.
The Senate is open to suggestions for more e-mail stations and the number of responses they receive will determine the success of the current project, Senator Alexei Wagner said. "If we get additional requests [for more locations] in, that would be a measure of success," he said.
