Hundreds of members of the Tufts community opened their MacBooks or turned on their iPhones yesterday to learn that the man behind these innovations had passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Love it or hate it, Steve Jobs' company revolutionized technology as we know it and, if nothing else, made lugging your laptop to class that much easier.

Researchers find origin for type of breast cancer

The Tufts School of Medicine on Sept. 21 published a paper on research that identified the cellular origins for a rare type of breast cancer, according to Dr. Charlotte Kuperwasser, Associate Professor of Medicine, who led the project.

Pathway by cannon closed for renovation

The Department of Facilities Services this past weekend closed off the path around the cannon and the back of Goddard Chapel for curb replacement and new planting, according to Vice President for Operations Dick Reynolds.
