And the award goes to...

Last night, the Office of Student Activities held its annual awards banquet honoring a new round of achievers in the Tufts community.

The following organizations and individuals were honored:

The Roaring Wave Award for Student Organization of the Year went to PANGEA.

The Lighthouse Award for Student Leader of the Year went to Jason Bauer (pictured).

For the second year in a row, The Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority took away the Mt. Olympus Award for Outstanding Greek Chapter of the Year. The Herald, or Publicity Award, went to Film Series.

The Imagination Award for Innovation and Creativity went to the Young Entrepreneurs at Tufts (YET). The Evergreen Award for the New Student Organization of the Year went to JumboCast.

The Jumbo Award for Campus Community was presented to the Asian Community at Tufts (ACT).

The Synergy Award for the Co-Sponsored Program of the Year went to Programming Board and the TCU Senate for this year's Winter Bash.

The Standing Room Only Award for Program of the Year went to "A Night in the Forbidden City: Chinese New Year's Celebration," which was held by the Chinese Student Association.

The Legacy Award for Senior Achievement went to Dave Baumwoll, Jeff Katzin, Caroline Kennedy and Tamara Savin.
