The volleyball team maintained its perfect home record with a 3-0 victory over the Bowdoin Polar Bears last night. With the win, the Jumbos improved to 6-2 in the NESCAC and 22-6 overall, while Bowdoin fell to 4-3 in the NESCAC and 17-6 overall.
The game featured back-and-forth action, especially in the third match, as the Jumbos rallied from as many as six points down to eventually win 30-25. Senior co-captains Dana Fleisher and Kelli Harrison continued their dominance in their final regular-season home games as Jumbos. Fleisher posted six kills, four blocks and three digs, while Harrison led Tufts offensively with 14 kills and two serving aces and hit two of the three game-winners on Senior Day.
Freshman Dena Feiger, who appeared in all three games to fill in for injured sophomore Kaitlin O'Reilly, played a solid game at setter with six digs and 29 assists.
