Lost iPod appears at deserted party
Officers responded to a report of a loud party at Lewis Hall at 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 3. They arrived at the room with the Residential Director and knocked on the door. When no one answered, the officers used their keys to enter to room.
There was no one in the room, but there was an iPod playing from a dock. There was also a broken desk and a couch standing on one end. A beruit table was set up, and there were cups of beer and empty beer cans.
Officers were able to identify some students who had been in the area, but they all denied going to the party. One student recognized the iPod as his own and was able to prove ownership. He said that he thought he had lost it in a cab.
Suspicion of marijuana in ATO
Officers responded to a fire alarm at 134 Professors Row, the ATO social house, at 1:11 a.m. on Dec. 1.
The alarm came from the third floor, and the area underneath it smelt of burnt marijuana, according to Sergeant Robert McCarthy of Tufts University Police Department (TUPD).
Officers found a marijuana grinder and flavored blunt wraps in the common area. The case has been turned over to the dean.
