TUESDAY

“Picket for a Fair Dining Contract”

Details: Tufts Dining workers and Tufts Dining Action Coalition will picket outside of Carmichael Dining Hall to support dining workers in their contract negotiations with the university.

Where and when: Carmichael Dining Hall; 4:30–6:30 p.m.

WEDNESDAY

“Religious Minorities and Human Rights in China”

Details: At an event hosted by the Fletcher Initiative on Religion, Law and Diplomacy, Omer Kanat, director of the Uyghur Human Rights Project, will discuss the role of religious minorities in China and discrimination against Uyghurs.

Where and when: Room 200, Mugar Complex; 12:20–1:50 p.m.

THURSDAY

“ASAP Panel: The Intersection between Sexual Violence and the Law”

Details: Tufts Actions for Sexual Assault Prevention (ASAP) will put on a panel discussion with law professionals and experts on sexual violence to talk about both how sexual assault cases are handled in the legal system and the prevalence of sexual harassment in the legal profession.

Where and when: Nelson Auditorium Room 112, Anderson Hall; 7:30–9 p.m.

FRIDAY

“The Power of Youth in Our Politics”

Details: The Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life and Generation Citizen at Tufts will partner for a conversation about active civic life and empowering youth. Guests include Boston City Councilor Michelle Wu and Generation Citizen CEO Scott Warren, who recently published a book titled "Generation Citizen: The Power of Youth in Our Politics" (2019).
