Top Ten | Things we're going to try to sneak into Spring Fling

We're as excited as the next intoxicated Tufts student to pass out on the President's Lawn this weekend, but we feel a little fenced in by all the restrictions they've placed on us (and by the wooden fences): no bags, no drinks that aren't beer, etc. We just want to have fun! We're giving a heads-up to the security guards: Here are 10 things we'll be sneaking into the spring festivities on Saturday.

Weekender Interview | Keri Russell

Mata Hari, Lara Croft, Sydney Bristow - even Foxxy Cleopatra - but Felicity? Okay, so Keri Russell's fresh-faced, late-'90s WB persona probably doesn't scream international woman of mystery, but that's just because the world hasn't yet been exposed to her latest role as secret agent Lindsey Farrin, rookie spy and newest member of the "Mission: Impossible" task force. Starring opposite the likes of Tom Cruise, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laurence Fishburne, Russell promises that her newest film will have her using high-tech spy gear, jumping out of buildings, and generally being a "bad-ass" - apparently even more so than when she got that tragic hair cut in Season Two of "Felicity." Granted, her real-life demeanor is probably closer to her Mouseketeer roots than to this femme fatale character, and anyone who dialed into Russell's college press conference call last week could almost see her trademark dimply smile oozing across the phone line. But somehow, Russell managed to strike a comfortable balance between squeaky-clean Felicity and sassy Lindsey to portray herself as the genuine, unassuming, I-could-be-your-best-friend gal that we all secretly hoped she was. With "M:I3" set to hit theaters next Friday, Russell took the time to have a delightful little chat with The Daily and a dozen other college correspondents about her upcoming role in the film.

Professors' Pasts | 'In theater, play and work is sort of the same thing'

Jesse Smith is not like most professors at Tufts. Perhaps it's because his office has a giant, life-sized photo of himself using a floor buffer on the door. Perhaps it's because his classes are often taught not in a normal classroom, but at the Scene Shop on 66 Colby Street, where instead of pencils and paper, students use jigsaws and screw guns. Perhaps it's because instead of a suit and tie, his traditional outfit is overalls or shorts and his trademark jester hat.

Traveling Lush | Do you, like, love it?

As you read about my antics each week, I am sure many of you must wonder how my family reacts. This being the Lush's last column of the semester, I thought it was time to appease the other lushes in my extended family and write about a drunken evening spent out with them.

Ben Swasey | From Way Down Town

Despite less-than-optimal directions that got us lost, I remained undaunted: I was determined to get to Wonderland. After far too long in the car, my friend and I finally pulled into a mostly empty parking lot on a bleak and rainy Tuesday evening. We knew we had reached our destination.

Inside the Red Sox | Papelbon, Youkilis fill gaps in '05 team

Two of the most glaring weaknesses of the 2005 Boston Red Sox were the poor performance of the bullpen and a lack of production at first base. Both those holes have been filled (at least so far) in 2006 thanks to the help of a couple of former Red Sox farmhands: closer Jon Papelbon and first baseman Kevin Youkilis.
