Professor Ioannis Evrigenis named new IR director

Ioannis Evrigenis, professor of political science and classics, has been selected as International Relations (IR) Program director. Evrigenis assumed the leadership role earlier in July and will direct the program before going on leave the following year to pursue a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).

Tufts announces fall 2020 move-in updates

Tufts University announced its move-in plan for students living on and off campus in an email sent today by university administrators. Revised campus arrival dates, which begin on August 16 and end on September 13, in addition to protocols such as mandatory testing and quarantine, purport to reduce the risk of exposure among the Tufts community.

Tufts files amicus brief, opposes new ICE regulations

Tufts announced on Thursday afternoon its decision to file an amicus brief supporting the lawsuit by Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) opposing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency's announcement that international students will have their visas revoked if they are taking exclusively online courses in the fall.

Victory to leave Tufts, assume new role at Duke

Executive Director of the Career Center Gregory Victoryannounced on April 14 that he will be leaving Tufts in July to become the Fannie Mitchell executive director of the career center and assistant vice president of student affairs at Duke University.
