Men’s Basketball | Too little, too late for Tufts in Worcester

The Jumbos entered their matchup Tuesday against the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Engineers averaging over 88 points per game. When they left Worcester, they had scored a season-low 67 points, losing by three and falling to 5-2 overall. The Engineers, who were ranked No. 14 in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25, extended their home winning streak to 20.

Women's Basketball | Jumbos top Cougars, remain undefeated

Returning from Thanksgiving break, the No. 9 ranked Tufts women's basketball team chalked up a 76-50 win over Clark University on Sunday to continue its undefeated start to the season. With the win, the Jumbos move to 5-0, with Clark dropping to 3-3. Sophomore Emma Roberson led all scorers with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting, making 2 of 5 from beyond the arc.

After a successful season opener against Boston University in mid-November, the Tufts men’s squash team has struggled to find its stride. Prior to Thanksgiving break, the Jumbos played MIT before taking on Bowdoin, Brown and Bryant a few days later on Nov. 23. The Jumbos kept the match close against MIT and Bryant but fell decisively against the rest of the field.

Sailing | Jumbos’ season comes to end at ACCs

The Tufts co-ed sailing team wrapped up its fall season at the Atlantic Coast Championships in Charleston, S.C. on Nov. 16 and 17. The Jumbos had worked all season to qualify for and compete in this two-day event, which featured 18 top-level teams from the East Coast in 14 races.

Men's Basketball | Huge second half propels Tufts past Wentworth

One day after dropping their first game of the season at Emerson, 78-71, the Jumbos appeared destined for back-to-back losses Saturday as they took on the Wentworth Leopards at Cousens Gym. Tufts fell behind big in the first half and again in the second, but an explosive offense showed up eventually to score 57 second-half points and win 84-73.

Women's Fencing | Jumbos post undefeated effort at Vassar

The women’s fencing team kicked off its winter season at the Vassar Multi-Meet over the Nov. 10 weekend, finishing the tournament as the only undefeated team. Its eight wins came against Stevens Institute of Technology (16-11), Fairleigh Dickinson University (17-10), Queens College (23-4), City College of New York (17-10), West Point (19-8), Hunter College (23-4), Yeshiva University (24-3) and Cornell University (14-13).
