Tufts women’s lacrosse improves its conference record with 20–4 victory over Connecticut College

Going into this weekend at 8–2, the Jumbos were barely holding on to their ranking in the top five of Division III women’s lacrosse. Starting the season at No. 2, Tufts has dropped to No. 4 after narrow losses to Amherst College in overtime and Middlebury in an NCAA Championship rematch. Tufts bounced back from its one-goal loss to Middlebury with a dominate 17–9 victory over Williams.

Field Hockey knocked out of NESCAC tournament

This past Saturday, Tufts’ campus was buzzing with the excitement of the NESCAC tournament. Both men’s and women’s soccer competed for conference titles on Bello field, volleyball kicked off its tournament run in Cousens Gymnasium and field hockey faced fourth-seeded Wesleyan.

Women’s lacrosse takes first loss in battle against No. 1

This past Saturday, the most anticipated matchup in Division III women’s lacrosse took place in Middlebury, Vt. as the then undefeated No. 2 Tufts traveled to take on the No. 1 Middlebury College. Winning the last three NCAA titles, Middlebury is the only obstacle standing in the way of Tufts dominating the division with an undefeated record this season and now 64-game win streak. The last time that the Middlebury team lost was May 8, 2022 against Tufts in the NESCAC Championship.
