As darkness fell on the Avalon last Wednesday night, a crowd very unlike the club's regulars began to assemble outside on Lansdowne Street. These were not techno- or hip-hop-loving dancers clad in designer clothing, but rather a collection of rather stereotypical metal heads. Dressed in black and sporting countless piercings, they lined up for blocks, patiently waiting for the club's doors to open at 7 p.m. Sno Core 2000 had arrived in Boston.
