STONER SKUNKS UP DORM, GETS CAUGHT

A residential assistant in Tilton Hall called TUPD at 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 26 to report the smell of marijuana coming from a dorm room. Upon arriving, the officer heard voices and music in the room. The officer knocked, and the voices and music stopped. After knocking again, a student opened the door and said that he and his friends were just listening to music and hanging out.

There were two females in the room, who were identified and then allowed to leave. The officer then spoke to the resident and gave him the opportunity to hand over any marijuana and paraphernalia. He handed over a metal grinder, a cigarette roller, a pack of rolling paper, a cup with cigarette butts in it and a plastic bag that contained a small amount of marijuana.

NO DONATIONS ACCEPTED FOR ALCOHOL OR SEX

An officer went to Latin Way at 2:12 a.m. on Mar. 4 in response to a dorm lockout. Once she got to the building, she noticed several large parties taking place. She went up to the fourth floor of one tower and knocked on a suite door. When there was no response, she prepared to let herself in. At that moment someone walked out, and she entered the room.

The officer turned on the lights and advised everyone to leave. She noticed a bar set up in the common room with a cup and a sign over it that said: "Donations accepted to combat virginity worldwide." In the hallway there was another sign that read: "Please donate. Paying for beer is not the same as paying for sex, no matter what Noah says." There were only two dollars in the donation cup.

IPOD STOLEN

The Tufts University Police Department (TUPD) received a report on March 3 about an iPod that was stolen between 10:45 and 11:00 p.m. that night. The student stated that she and a friend were in the common area outside of her room in Wren Hall. An iPod was in a docking station in the common room.

Three white males, who appeared to be around 16 or 17 years old, entered the suite and asked the students if they knew of any parties. They told the males they did not. The student and her friend went into her room for a minute after this interaction and when they returned to the common room, the iPod was gone.
