The Sept. 12 News article entitled, "Possible delays in Green Line extension irk local officials," should have noted that while city officials will oppose waiting for funds if the wait means a delay in the extension project, they are not opposed to the principle of seeking federal money.
The Sept. 12 News article entitled, "Hodgdon to reopen tomorrow; Hotung construction is stalled" reported that the university had agreed to pay JK Blackstone Construction Corporation $997,000 for the Hotung work. That figure is, in fact, the cost for the entire project, only a portion of which is promised to that construction company.
