Senior David Hunt shot a 72 to tie for third place overall and lead the golf team to second in a field of four teams at Webster/Dudley Golf Course.
The match was hosted by Nichols College.
Tufts scored a 312, 18 strokes behind the host Bison, who won their own tournament with a 294.
Wentworth placed third with a team score of 314 and Brandeis finished out the list of competitors with a 318.
Nichols junior Chris Brock was the individual medalist, with a two-under-par 70.
Freshman Luke Heffernan carded a three-over 75, good for fifth overall. Junior Benji Moll came in at 82, with his brother Dan, a freshman, right on his heels at 83. Senior Mike O'Neil also shot an 83 for the Jumbos.
