Junior Brittany Holiday sends a penalty stroke past Babson sophomore Emily Cohen in the second half of the Jumbos' 4-0 win last night at Bello Field. The Jumbos blew a tenuous 1-0 lead wide open with three second-half goals, including Holiday's stroke. Sophomore Michelle Kelly scored the first goal for the Jumbos, who looked sharp in the non-league matchup. Senior co-captain Ileana Casellas-Katz chipped in the final two goals just three minutes apart, giving her a NESCAC-leading six on the season. The Jumbos' defense kept the Beavers out of shooting range until the final 90 seconds and freshman goalie Kate Hyder came up with two saves to fend off a Babson push in the game's final minute. Sidestepping a potential trap game in the Beavers, the Jumbos improved to 3-1 on the season. See tomorrow's Daily for further coverage.
