Car chase ends in president's driveway
A Tufts University Police Department (TUPD) officer observed a vehicle traveling down Professor's Row at high speed on Sept. 2 at 11:53 p.m. The car proceeded to run a stop sign and turn into University President Lawrence Bacow's driveway, then came to a stop as the driver and three passengers fled the vehicle. One of the individuals was caught and arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. Police have yet to locate any of the other individuals. No Tufts students were involved.
Student attempts to hide beer can from police
A person was spotted walking down Professors Row with a beer can in hand at approximately 11:38 p.m. on Sept. 2. After a failed attempt at concealing the can, the person proceeded to deny being a Tufts student, which TUPD officers confirmed was not true. A report was turned in to the Dean of Student Affair's office.
Female student urinates on tree
A TUPD officer witnessed a female urinating on a tree outside of 134 Professors Row on Sept. 7 at 12:19 pm. The student was sent home. The report has been turned over to the Dean's office.
Student admits to marijuana possession
On Sept. 9 at 12:54 am, several individuals were caught outside of Wren Hall smoking marijuana. One student took responsibility for possession of the substance. The report was turned over to the Dean's office.
