Tube Stock: What's new on TV

A slew of new television shows are hitting the airwaves this week. In case you don't have a subscription to TV Guide (and honestly, who has a subscription to TV Guide?) here's a list of what new programming we can expect this week:

Monday, Sept. 24:

"Chuck:" A nerdy, shiftless and lovable computer nerd gets hold of secret government information and he must work with curt national security officials to save the world. 8 p.m., NBC

"Big Bang Theory:" Two geeky men move into an apartment across from an attractive woman! 8:30 p.m., CBS

"Journeyman:" Billed as a "romantic mystery-drama," in this show a San Francisco man travels through time to help others while dealing with the stresses of his own life. 10 p.m., NBC

Tuesday, Sept. 25:

"Reaper:" Nice guy's love life turns complicated when he suddenly and unknowingly begins working for the devil. 9 p.m., CW

"Cane:" Jimmy Smits stars as the patriarch of a Cuban-American family grown wealthy and corrupt due to their success in the notoriously shady sugar cane industry. 10 p.m., CBS

Wednesday, Sept. 26:

"Private Practice:" The much-anticipated "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off follows Dr. Montgomery to Los Angeles where she aims to start anew and rid herself of McDreamy and McSteamy alike. 9 p.m., ABC

"Bionic Woman:" She's bionic. She's a woman. All at the same time. 9 p.m., NBC

"Life:" A wrongly imprisoned man returns to his pre-slammer career as a detective. 10 p.m., NBC

"Dirty Sexy Money:" Wealthy Manhattan family hires lawyer to handle their many problems which one can only assume are dirty, sexy and somehow involve money. 10 p.m., ABC

Thursday, Sept. 27:

"Big Shots:" Four male big shots struggle with being big shots at work and carrying out relationships with demanding women at home. Michael Vartan and Dylan McDermott star. 10 p.m., ABC

Friday Sept. 28:

"Moonlight:" Err...A vampire/private investigator from another time struggles to find bad guys and not bite innocent people's necks.9 p.m., CBS
