Simon Rosenberg (LA '85), founder and president of the New Democratic Network, a national progressive political network, spent the day at Tufts yesterday.
He spoke to several audiences, including trustee and visiting faculty member Alan Solomont's "Decision '08" class and a small group in the Crane room.
He proposed a strategy for the Democrats to take the 21st century by storm, utilizing demographic knowledge and communications strategies.
"We are at a particular moment in history, what we call the end of the conservative ascendancy," he told the audience in the Crane Room. "They are among the most corrupt group of people [to govern] in our history."
