AFC West wins a row for the Oakland Raiders, snapping a string of 17 consecutive losses in their division. A win last week over Kansas City gave Oakland its first division win since 2004. Poor Josh McCown. He throws three touchdowns and Raiders fans only care about the debut of top pick JaMarcus Russell.

Members of the women's track and field team who qualified for ECAC and New England Div. III Championships in the first meet of the season. Senior co-captain Kaleigh Fitzpatrick, senior Anna Shih and sophomore Logan Crane all qualified with top performances at last weekend's Husky Carnival at Northeastern.
