Time of freshman men's swimmer Chris Vorlicek in the 400 IM, good for a pool record, the second spot on the NESCAC top times list for the 400 IM, and first place in the event against MIT Saturday. Vorlicek posted an outstanding day, also taking third in the 1,000 freestyle and second place in the 500 freestyle.

Due to Owens' behavior with the Eagles in 2004, he was suspended and forfeit a portion of his $2.3 million signing bonus. Philadelphia since sought, and has won, the right to recover $1.725 million of that original sum.
