Article: "Tufts protects student confidentiality, even when parents are footing the bill" (Jan. 29)

Comment: As an employer and parent who pays big bucks for higher education, I think we are entitled to get reports (grades) on how the education is going.

Do I buy a new car without getting a CARFAX report?

In addition, as one who pays out for health and life insurance, I tired quickly of paying for insurance without getting what I pay for.

Once the student gets into the real world and the workforce, they will find very little confidentially exists as an employee, whether they like it or not. Just see what they have to go through to get a private health or life insurance policy and what it costs.

Lastly, I get e-mails on everything else and plenty of calls to give money, but I don't know one thing about MyJumbo!
