In the front-page article "Faculty votes to limit access to students' records" (Feb. 7) and the editorial "With students' privacy only partially restored, further protection is necessary" (Feb. 7), the Daily reported that the Tufts Community Union (TCU) Senate's Educational Policy Committee (EPC) had drafted a proposal to limit faculty access to students' records. In fact, the committee was a mixture of faculty members and students and is not affiliated with the TCU Senate.
The Daily apologizes for the error and for any of the editorial arguments that were based on this incorrect information.
