The Feb. 5 news article "McCain speaks at Faneuil Hall" referred to Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) wife as Carol McCain. In fact, Ms. McCain's first name is Cindy; Carol is the name of McCain's first wife.
The Feb. 6 news article "Security presence increased at Cousens" quoted TUPD Captain Mark Keith as referring to a security guard's dismissal with the statement, "Other things [were involved in] his dismissal, including issues of inebriation." The quote should have read, "Other things [were involved in] his dismissal, including issues of insubordination."
The Feb. 4 Op-Ed piece "Climate change and society" was submitted to the Daily and published under the name Emily Wier. The Daily has since learned that it was also co-written by Andrew Hastings-Black.
