Momo Davis, a Medford resident, came to Read by the River with her two children, Mariah, 9, and Kendelle (pictured), 7.
"I think it was pretty cool," Mariah said. When asked if she had fun, Kendelle responded, "Totally!" When asked what she thought about the carnival, she said it was "awesome!"
Davis said Mariah was involved with the arts program through Tufts, and that they attended Halloween stuff at Tufts, too.
Programs through Tufts are "always great," Davis said.
