Goals scored by the men's lacrosse team during the final 1:03 of the first half of its Saturday contest against the Colby Mules. Colby had closed the gap to 4-3 before the offensive flurry put Tufts up 8-3 heading into the third quarter. The Jumbos didn't look back from there, downing Colby 13-8 on the Mules' home turf.

With Memphis up 62-58 and Chris Douglas-Roberts at the line, the Tigers proceeded to miss four of five free throws including the front side of a one-and-one. In OT, the Tigers' misses from the stripe cost them the game, 75-68.

Events won by the men's track and field team Saturday at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invitational. Senior quad-captains Dave Sorensen and Dan Marcy won the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the triple jump, respectively, while while sophomore Scott Brinkman won the 400 meters and senior Joe Brown secured first in the hammer throw. The Jumbos also captured the 4x400-meter relay.

Tiger Woods' career score on par-5s at the Masters. This is compared to his 24-over performance in par-4s. This weekend, Tiger will be looking for his fifth win at the Masters and his first since 2005, which will be the first step if Woods is looking to become the first golfer ever to win all four majors in one year. This may be his year, as he has won four of five tournaments so far in 2008.

Individual matches won by the men's tennis team during its current three-game skid against NESCAC opponents. After posting four straight wins, the Jumbos have since lost three, starting with a 7-0 loss to Trinity April 1 followed by a pair of 7-2 losses against Bates and Bowdoin this weekend.

The Tigers have increased their early-season slump to 0-7 after losing a 5-0 shutout to the Red Sox yesterday afternoon.
