Asher Roth, the rapper behind the recent hit single "I Love College," will perform at this year's Spring Fling, his spokesperson has confirmed.
Roth will join Ludacris, the Tufts group The Gentlemen's Bet, another Tufts band, and a rock act at the April 25 event.
The news first broke via a post on Last.fm, and Roth spokesman Matt Aliabadi later confirmed it in an e-mail to the Daily.
Roth's music has drawn comparisons to that of Eminem, but the upcoming rapper disputed the parallel in an interview with Complex Magazine.
"We're different artists. We just happened to be under the same genre," he said.
Roth's debut studio album, "Asleep in the Bread Aisle," will be released on April 20.
