Gross, who competed atop the men's squash ladder during the 2008-09 campaign, was the lone representative for Tufts on the All-NESCAC First Team, attaining the same honor his older brother Jake (LA ‘08) did last year as a senior. Jake had posted a 16-2 individual match record to claim a spot on the inaugural All-Conference Team, while Alex went 10-16 this season. As a freshman last year, Alex competed at the No. 2 spot, under Jake, who had held the No. 1 position for all four of his years as a starter for the Jumbos.
