For the athletes in the NESCAC, yesterday didn't just feel like spring — it was the first day
of the spring season. Teams have been holding captains' practices and workouts all winter,
but under conference rules, Feb. 15 is the first day that they can hold official practices. That
meant a return to Bello Field for the defending national runner-up men's lacrosse team,
which played under the lights last night in preparation for a scrimmage at Yale on Saturday.
