Seung-Hui is not a victim

I was horrified to read a Viewpoint entitled "A plea in remembrance" (April 19) only three days following the massacre at Virginia Tech. The author, Nivedita Gunturi (LA '06), suggests that we should consider the murderer, Cho Seung-Hui, a victim.

New deadline for dropping classes to take effect next semester

The Tufts Community Union (TCU) Senate and the Education Policy Committee (EPC) have worked to enact a new policy that would give students additional time to decide whether to drop a class without record of enrollment. Finalized earlier this month, the change will take effect next semester.

A call to the polls

As graduation looms, I am beginning the scary but necessary reflection process that all seniors undergo. We've attended four homecoming weekends, four Spring Flings, numerous guest lectures, fraternity parties and performances by [insert your favorite a cappella group, dance troupe or theatre group here]. Yet we forget that these events don't just magically appear.
