Women's Tennis | Consistency, camaraderie give Jumbos second win of the season

After a long summer of reflection, and a few weeks of preparation back on the hill, the women's tennis team hit the courts for the first time since its third?round loss to Williams in the NCAA Championship that marked an end to last year's season. But the Jumbos, ranked No. 15 at the end of last season, managed to put last season's disappointing ending behind them, and kicked off the 2012 fall season this past week with a pair of home wins against MIT and Brandeis.

Women's Soccer | Tufts drops matches against NESCAC foes Colby and Trinity

The problems that have plagued the women's soccer team all season long, namely too many injuries and a lack of scoring, reared their ugly heads again this weekend. Losses to NESCAC opponents Colby on Saturday and Trinity on Sunday dropped the women's soccer team to 1-4-1 on the season and kept Tufts winless in conference play.

Men's Soccer | Tufts struggles to finish games over weekend, draws twice

After an impressive 4-0-0 start to the season, the men's soccer team could only manage draws this weekend against Colby and Trinity despite handily outplaying both opponents. Previously ranked No. 22 nationally and No. 3 in New England, the Jumbos will almost certainly tumble in the rankings following these disappointing results.
