Jumbos take care of business in rout of Lions

The women's basketball team is in the midst of a dominant stretch, during which it has routinely routed non?conference foes. That trend continued at Cousens Gym on Tuesday night when the Jumbos trounced the Emerson Lions in convincing fashion, 71?32 for their sixth straight victory.

Women's Squash | Jumbos squashed at NESCAC tournament

Seeking to avenge a Jan. 21 loss to Amherst at the Pioneer Valley Invitational, the 11th−seeded women's squash team came up short against the national No. 6 Lord Jeffs on Friday in the first round of the NESCAC tournament, losing 9−0. The Jumbos could not earn redemption on Saturday, when they fell to No. 9 Colby 9−0 and No. 10 Conn. College 7−2.

Ice Hockey | Gallegos deep-sixes Camels in home-and-home weekend sweep

This weekend, the men's hockey team faced Conn. College twice and beat the Camels both times, improving their NESCAC mark to 8-5-1. The victories vaulted the Jumbos out of fourth place in the conference and into a third place tie with Middlebury, putting them in position to host a first-round game in the looming NESCAC tournament.

Men's Track | Jumbos capture Tufts Invitational Stampede crown

The men's track and field team notched solid performances and personal bests across the board en route to winning the Tufts Invitational Stampede, hosted this weekend at the Gantcher Center. The squad tallied 125 points, well ahead of UMass Dartmouth's 87.5 points, among 22 scoring teams.

Tufts Hockey downs Suffolk

The hockey team disposed of Suffolk University by a score of 6−1 on Tuesday night, though the Jumbos trailed 1−0 entering the third period. The tide turned in the final period, as two goals by freshman Tyler Voigt and four more from his teammates led the team to victory.
