Paintings at MFA suspected stolen during Nazi regime

The looting of precious works of art by the Nazi regime during the Holocaust and World War II was, unfortunately, a common practice. As a result, many leading museums have unknowingly come into possession of the "stolen" masterpieces without knowing their true origin and history. Boston's Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) posted on its website last Monday a list of seven European paintings whose origins are, at the moment, dubious.
