Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, Charlotte's Web and The Berenstein Bears were just some of the television shows and books that brought us joy and introduced us to the wonderful world of learning when we were children. We learned how to count and recognize letters while being entertained by Oscar the Grouch and his insatiable desire to live in filth. We were awed by the many different adventures presented in Reading Rainbow and wanted to be one of the kids who delivered a book summary at the end of the show.
