Tufts students play tag, and Larry Bacow is 'it'

Despite his tough schedule of marathon training, ribbon-cutting and general university presidential duties, President Lawrence Bacow has been making regular appearances around campus. In the form of a black spray-painted image, Bacow's face can be found on steps, bricks, and sidewalks across Tufts.

Coming off its first loss of the season last weekend to Williams, the men's swimming and diving team did not get a break in its schedule, as rival MIT came to Hamilton Pool Saturday. The Jumbos put forth a strong effort, but came up just short in a 154-144 loss to the nationally-ranked No. 15 Engineers.

Inside the NHL | Ferguson fired as Leafs flutter toward the bottom of the East

On Tuesday, Maple Leafs Sports Entertainment (MLSE)announced the firing of John Ferguson Jr. as general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The move came as no surprise to hockey fans throughout North America, as the Leafs have missed the playoffs in consecutive years and are currently falling well out of relevance in the East this season. Head coach Paul Maurice managed to retain his job for the time being, and former Leafs GM Cliff Fletcher replaced Ferguson on an interim basis.
