There will most certainly be blood at 2008 Oscars

When it comes time to pick Oscar nominees, the Academy can just look back at the lowest-grossing films of November and December and throw them all into the mix. What makes the actual winner-choosing difficult, though, is that 2007 actually had some pretty great movies - at least a half-dozen - and they are all nominated for every possible award.

The real process behind student judicial affairs

As representatives of the student body and members of the student government, we feel it is our responsibility to highlight a few inaccuracies that were published in last Wednesday's edition of the Daily ("Guilty until proven innocent," Feb. 13). Corrections

The Feb. 13 article, "TCU passes resolution proposing judicial review board" included a subheadline that read "After Li case, Senate works to ensure comprehensive trial for students charged with academic dishonesty." In fact, the resolution did not deal with whether or not an accused student would receive a "comprehensive trial." The resolution sought to guarantee a student's right to the use of a judicial review board when the administration believes there is indisputable evidence in an academic dishonesty case.
