Inside the NHL | New format heavy on divisional play, light on all else

This week, Inside the NHL is moving away from giving a condensed rundown of just about everything going on in the league. The summarization is boring, so Inside the NHL will move to different issues that pop up from week to week. But in the spirit of boring summarization, here's a quick shot of who is making noise and who seems to be floundering at this point.

Things get a little hairy in 'Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus'

The movie "Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus," starring Nicole Kidman and Robert Downey Jr., is cinematically pretty complicated, so it seems valid to start off by saying a little about who Diane Arbus was and why her life and work are important enough to justify a major motion picture. Briefly put, Arbus was a 20th century gonzo-photojournalist, famous for immersing herself in the subject matter of her pictures and focusing on the stories and images of people, who, because of their physical characteristics or social exclusion, were not a part modern America's "mainstream" culture.

Pete McKeown | Daily Townie

In my four years in college, I'd have to say the worst thing I've had to deal with, other than homework or the guy who screams at you in a made-up language outside the Broken Yolk, is the lack of quality shows on daytime television. Trying to find a good show from about 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. is like searching through your pants' pockets in the hopes of finding a crisp $100 bill after a bachelor party.

It appears that there is not only a personality difference between the two; Albert Hammond, Jr. also seems to have very different musical ambitions from Casablancas.
