'Clayton' is both suspenseful and typical

After two weeks of box office domination by "The Game Plan," The Rock's kid-friendly comedy, George Clooney offers an alternative for everyone not under the age of 12 that is sleek and savvy, much like Clooney himself. "Michael Clayton" is a thinking-man's thriller set in corporate America. It moves along methodically, setting the stage for an exciting final act filled with intrigue and suspense.

Fogg Museum adds 'Moor' sculpture to intimate Bernini exhibit

Gian Lorenzo Bernini is perhaps the foremost sculptor of his time, and his monumental bronze and marble statues are the very epitome of early Baroque art. Before he and his workshop could create large statues from expensive materials such as marble, Bernini first created smaller clay models to determine how the final version of his works should look.

Richardson has the experience to lead a nation

I was quite discouraged, to say the least, upon reading a recent Daily op-ed criticizing Tufts' favorite son, Gov. Bill Richardson. While I will not attempt to argue points from the piece, my hope is that in spite of the negativity surrounding modern politics, we, as relatively idealistic and optimistic students, can concentrate on the positive aspects of what makes each presidential candidate stand out. This dialogue, I hope will be encouraged amongst my fellow students who decide to write editorials promoting the candidate they support.
